Oficial: Sprint anuncia el BlackBerry Bold 9930 y BlackBerry Torch 9850 para venta
Luego del sabor amargo para los que esperaban la versión 4G del PlayBook en Sprint y este último sorpresivamente cancela traerlo, ahora anuncia la disponibilidad de equipos BlackBerry OS 7 en formato CDMA.
Los nuevos equipos, el BlackBerry Bold 9930, primero con pantalla táctil y el BlackBerry Torch 9850, la evolución del BlackBerry Storm estarán disponibles desde el 21 de Agosto en Sprint.

BlackBerry Bold 9930
BlackBerry Bold 9930 boasts the thinnest design and widest QWERTY on a BlackBerry smartphone for $249.99 (excluding taxes) with a new line or eligible pgrade and two-year service agreement.
At just 10.5mm thick, the BlackBerry Bold 9930 smartphone is the thinnest BlackBerry smartphone ever. It features a 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen display, the widest QWERTY keyboard available on a BlackBerry smartphone and a trackpad or easy navigation. BlackBerry Bold 9930 also offers Near Field Communications (NFC) support for a secure exchange of information between NFC-enabled devices over a very short distance.

BlackBerry Torch9850, the first all-touch BlackBerry smartphone for Sprint customers, will cost $149.99 (excluding taxes) with a new line or eligible upgrade and two-year service agreement, after $50 mail-in rebate via reward card1.
The sleek BlackBerry Torch 9850 smartphone features a spectacular, new 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display, the largest ever on a BlackBerry smartphone, and trackpad for easy navigation.

Saludos! Fui uno de los primeros en adquirir el Blackberry Bold 9930 de Sprint, a traves del site de internet por $199.99. El telefono está increíble en terminos de hardware y el sistema operativo aunque muy parecido al OS 6, hay cambios significativos y mejora su desempeño.
Sin embargo, hay un serio problema actualmente aquí en PR con los nuevos Blackberrys 7 de Sprint. (Bold y Torch). Resulta que según los tecnicos estos nuevos telefonos no estan conectandose correctamente a la red de Sprint aquí en PR. Al parecer es un problema de provisión ("provisioning"). Cuando el telefono marca 1X se puede usar el internet, emails, bbm, hacer llamadas y textos. Pero tan pronto cambia a "3G" deja de funcionar por completo. Tengo ese probleme desde el primer momento de la activación. Lo lleve varias veces a una tienda hasta que los técnicos se enteraron de ese problema. Al dia de hoy aun no se ha resuelto el problema. Tuve que activar mi viejo blackberry 9650 en lo que se resuelve el problema. Pero de mi parte si antes de que lleguen los 30 dias de prueba no se resuelve este problema, lamentablemente tendre que devolverlo y cancerlar la cuenta. Solo me fui con Sprint porque queria este telefono. Ya me entere que T-Mobile lo acaba de lanzar. Si alguien mas tiene conocimiento de este asunto por favor comentar. Lamentablemente los nuevos blackberrys de Sprint no estan funcionando y tampoco Sprint Puerto Rico no ha dado una comunicacion oficial de cuando esperan resolver este serio problema.
Tambien estoy interesado en adquirir un blackberry 9900. Pero me preocupa la señal de Sprint. Vivo en Trujillo Alto y no se si llegue fuerte.Tendre que investigar como funciona con T-Mobile. Pero dicen que la compañia esta a punto de quebrar. No se en que parara todo esto.
